Things to Do in Tampa Bay Weekend Guide
Another week has arrived! If you’re looking for things to do in Tampa Bay, you have come to the right place. With Father’s Day coming up, we found a few different ways to celebrate. Tampa Bay also has a few other events and fun activities to get into this weekend. Whether you want to go fishing, have a picnic, or ride on a boat there are plenty of options to choose from.

All American Fishing Tournament: Fishing Funds the Cure
Father’s Day is this weekend and one of the best things to do in Tampa Bay with your dad is go fishing. Now through September 30th, you can help reel in a cure for pediatric cancer with The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
Fishing Funds the Cure is a virtual fishing tournament that provides an opportunity for fishermen of all levels to use their passion to raise awareness and funding for our young warriors battling cancer.
It is only $25 to register and if you refer 5 people to register for the All American Fishing Tournament 2020, your entry fee will be refunded and you will participate for FREE.
We love going down Bayshore Boulevard to Ballast Point Park to fish.

Need a cute date idea? We found one of the most romantic things to do in Tampa Bay that your date is going to love! Let us introduce you to That’s My Jam Tampa. They are a picnic delivery service that sets you up for the perfect date night while supporting local businesses!
This picnic is not your traditional picnic, it is unique and elegant. Choose from which “basket jam” you’d like and they’ll set you up for the best night ever. And if your jam isn’t a date, they have a Father’s Day basket and other baskets that can be used for any occasion! Kraken CycleBoats
If you’ve ever ridden on a Kraken CycleBoat then you know it’s one of the most fun things to do in Tampa, Florida. These boats are basically a pedal pub on the water…we guess you can call them a paddle pub. And great news, they are back open!
Climb aboard the ‘Kraken’ and pedal along with your family, friends, or coworkers. This interactive experience is perfect for birthdays, Bach parties, a weekend get together, company parties–any occasion! Drink, listen out to music, and see downtown Tampa from a whole new perspective.
One of our favorite views from the boat is the Henry B. Plant Museum at the University of Tampa! Essentially you will travel along the Hillsborough River beside the Tampa Riverwalk.
MASKerade to Benefit The Humane Society of Tampa Bay
Put on your best Coronavirus mask and head to C.1949 this Friday to support the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. 15% of night’s sales will go towards the purchase of pet food for those struggling to feed their furry friends. The MASKerade is a great thing to do in Tampa Bay to have some fun and give back at the same time.
At 10PM, there will be a $100 gift card given out for the best mask and a $25 gift card for the runner up!

While we are sad that Social Media Day couldn’t happen in Ybor City this year, we are so happy we can attend Social Media Month Tampa Bay digitally! If you love all things social media, this is one of the best things to do in Tampa Bay for you. This week there will be a panel on Community Engagement for Brands and Businesses with Babe Crafted, Sponsored by Tampa’s Downtown Partnership. There will also be sessions about Pinterest and photography editing.

Father's Day BBQ and Market
Father’s Day is this Sunday! If you’re looking for a fun thing to do in Tampa Bay this weekend to celebrate dad, then we suggest you head to 3 Daughters Brewing. They will have hot food, cold beer, live music, and a (socially-distanced) market in the parking lot!
